Timo Penttilä Society

Timo Penttilä spent 20 years in Vienna, Austria, teaching architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts as the head of one of the two "Meisterklassen". During this time, he influenced many young architects in the course of their studies. After his death in 2011, a group of his former students got together in memorium of their teacher and successively formed the Timo Penttilä Society, whose goals are as follows:

• to organize the collected works that make up Penttilä's intellectual legacy,
• to initiate activities exploring relevant views on architecture,
• to assemble an archive for the body of work

from this discreet master of modern architecture.
